| Synopsis |
|
Real Life Drama ? Adopted by Professor Parker Wilson (Richard Gere) Hachiko accompanies his master to the station every morning and returns to greet him every afternoon after work. He continues this ritual long after his master?s death, meanwhile touching the lives of many people who live and work nearby and teaching them love, compassion and loyalty. In Japan (where this true story took place) there is a bronze statue to Hachiko and the story is told to Japanese children as an example of family loyalty and the importance of being true to the memory of a loved one.
