Heritage Open Days is about bringing people and places together and opening doors to discovery.

We hope this year's programme of tours, events and activities featuring close to 100 sites will entice you to explore your local area and discover new places of historical, cultural and architectural interest.

Parish churches, watermills, cemeteries, forts and windmills are among the wealth of fascinating venues who will be welcoming visitors for free over four days in September.

The volunteers involved in this unique weekend are always keen to share their knowledge with you. We very much hope you will enjoy this special four-day event.
