Female mechanics in unique challenge
At this year’s Beaulieu International Autojumble, taking place on the 10th and 11th September, female mechanics are being invited to take part in a unique challenge.

Throughout the weekend of the Autojumble lady mechanics can take a simple and fun aptitude test, overseen by the AA, to test their basic knowledge of tools and how to use them in a car environment.

The five lucky winners will be given the opportunity to form a team to go to Europe’s most prestigious classic car show, Retromobile, in Paris in February 2006.

There, on the Beaulieu stand, they will be the stars of the show as they build a car in front of 130,000 visitors and Europe ’s press and TV.

The traditionally cosmopolitan flavour of the International Autojumble will be much in evidence again this year with exhibitors, as well as visitors, coming from all points of the globe for the biggest outdoor motoring sale in Europe.
