Police are appealing for witnesses after a raider made off with the bar takings from The Croft pub in Langdown Lawn, Hythe.
The raider struck during the morning ‘rush-hour’ period between 8.30 and 9am on Tuesday, July 25.
He entered the private area of the pub where the takings of just less than £2,000 were in an office, ready to be taken to the bank.
The pub is on a busy main road and officers are hoping that passing commuters may have seen the thief acting suspiciously outside, or possibly seen someone enter or leave the pub at that time.
Anyone who has information or saw anything that may assist the police should contact PC Chris Bradford at Hythe police station on 0845 045 45 45 or anonymously on Crimestoppers, 0800 555 111. |
