The web team for Hythe Online is committed to making the
output as accessible as possible to all audiences (including
those with Visual, Hearing, Cognitive or Motor Impairments)
to fulfil this mandate and to meet the requirements under the
Disability Discrimination Act we have introduced “Access
Keys” throughout the site. As new and updated sections
of the site come on stream throughout the next few weeks this
service will become fully operational. Accessibility
should not be seen as an "optional extra", but must
be considered as a fundamental consideration at every stage
of our site development work. We have also included the “Tab” links
system across the design which will make it easier and faster
for people who cannot use a mouse to find the page faster. |
